"Sonically this album is flawless, without a loose note and does the near impossible of topping the debut. So far this is the album to beat this year, as it quickly takes a top spot in my top ten albums of 2011. 10 out of 10!"

Seth Swirsky of The Red Button holds up a copy of the vinyl version of the new Red Button record, As Far As Yesterday Goes.
"It was the album of the summer that past, which played in my car. The album She's About To Cross My Mind debuted in 2007 but in 1965-66 at the same time. The band, or should I say, the duo, Seth Swirsky and Mike Ruekberg are from the United States, but the music was composed in either Liverpool or perhaps London, USA. "
If you didn’t know any better, you’d think The Red Button hailed from North West England, near the docks of the River Mersey. The songs on this band’s debut album, She’s About To Cross My Mind, recall music made in the mid-sixties by the likes of Gerry & The Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, and, of course, those four moptops from Liverpool.
Oooooh yeah… give me more of that sweet creamy power pop goodness!
